Today is Bob's 64th birthday. Those of you who follow this blog know that Bob transcribed my first compositions and made them into a little book, and that one of them became the theme for Millikan Symphony. He encouraged my music, even before I knew I was a composer.
Bob chose his words carefully and always meant what he said. When my first orchestra CD came out in 2010 he was really proud of me, and said Ballad Nocturne was the best piece I'd ever written. I hope you enjoy it too. Happy Birthday, Bob. I miss you so much.
